I just received my Freja 102 BK. It is more than I expected. Aesthetically, it is beautiful. The paint, rosette, fretboard inlays, and other features are all perfect. The workmanship is superb. The action is right where I like it. It has an electric guitar feel to it. The tone is crisp and clear. Unplugged is projects well. Plugged in the tone is almost the same as unplugged, just louder.

Boutique quality instruments, available at prices that the masses can afford. Andrew strives to innovate with what he does with his instruments, from his unique bracing techniques, to the selection on soundboard woods to find the best wood grains for sound production. From his top-of-the-line custom made creations, all the way down to his Production series of guitars, you get so much bang for the buck.

I had the pleasure of meeting Andrew in his shop shortly after we got Harvey’d. We talked for about an hour about what I was looking for sound-wise, his design philosophy, and everything else under the sun. I got to try out several different models, finally settling on a Freja, which I purchased after playing on it for about ten minutes. I love Guilds, and own 3 of them, but this Freja smokes them in terms of playability, and surprisingly, in sound! This is a bonafide CANNON! Like, put it up against an F-50R cannon! Balanced tone, loud as you want to play it, articulate miss, highs that don’t sound like a cat wading through broken glass, this is a beast of a guitar. I barely play my Guilds at all any more. It’s that good! And Andrew is a class guy, and totally passionate about his craft. The science behind his arc-design is solid, and though they may look cool and different, they sound even better than they look. Hands-down my favorite guitar on the planet!

I love Andrew’s guitars, and I hope to one day be worthy of playing and buying one of his higher-end models. Even though I’m a novice guitar player without a lot of money to spend, Andrew patiently answered all of my questions and helped me get into the best guitar I could afford. My Freja is a truly beautiful instrument, and I look forward to getting home from work so I can play it.

Not many folks have had the pleasure to see Andrew’s guitars much less get to play them.
So…when the opportunity arises, perhaps they too will find the fit, finish, feel and the tones as remarkable as I did.
The nuances that took work to bring out with technique on other brand names seemed easier on Andrews guitars. Inspirational.

Finally a good guitar maker has found out how to make a perfect production model. Beautiful- in every sense of the word. Andrew connects with people and understands exactly what the player needs and delivers every time.

Beautiful tone and balance. Made in Korea but well worth the price. Well set up right out of the box and a joy to play

I love Andrew Whites guitars. I think Andrews work just needs to become better known, and once they are, a larger, more vocal fan club will emerge. Workmanship is top drawer

Great guitars, high quality, superior sustain, affordable prices, beautiful to look at, designed by a West Virginia luthier who will personally reach out to chat with his customers. What’s not to like.
