This guitar makes me feel like a musician. I can’t put it any other way. She stays in tune and has the tone and voice of a well sung song. I am grateful to own this guitar.

I have always been a Taylor person. I did a side by side comparison of my Cybele and a late model, special edition Taylor 314ce today. The Cybel was better in every way. Guess I am in the Andrew White camp now. Great work!!!

This is a killer Cybele it’s made me like rw again I’ve been playing pro over 30 years until I became disabled. I started with Guild, then Martin, then Ovation, then Taylor, then Maton, and most had rw back and sides except Ovation and Maton . I needed something new sound wise so when I started listening to AW guitars I was absolutely amazed at the different woods and the sound he’d get from them, the only other sound I owned was a Australian Maton I bought used over 20 years ago and it’s blackwood…a wood also used by AW and I sold six Taylor’s and everything else had been traded along the way to buy the Taylor’s…then the Maton happened only because a friend in Au. Founded it used…I never expected to find a guitar I’d like better?..now I’m obsessed with AWs.

Love the satin neck finish, smooth, without a hint of stickiness, even in hot sweaty weather. . This guitar has a wonderful voice, with big, beautiful bass and clear mids and highs. Great for fingerpicking. Sounds like a big body guitar, although pretty comparable in size to a grand concert shape. Comfortable playing position without an awkward shoulder position needed. Run through an acoustic amplifier, it sounds like it was miked by a pro. Gorgeous piece of Rosewood and a very pretty, not too busy rosette. A wonderful guitar for a modest price.

And another thing I didn’t mention. I own a 712e Taylor ( a fine guitar, I must say) and my Cybele 112 plays and sounds comparable, both unplugged and through an acoustic amp. Both rosewood and spruce, but the Andrew White costs $3000+ new. I bought mine gently used, but still paid more than twice what the Cybele cost. Unbeatable value.

I’ve been playing my Cybele for about a month now, and I have to say it is an absolutely wonderful guitar. It is an easy instrument to hold and play- small bodied and light, but with a solid feel.
The fretboard is slim and comfortable and the spacing is perfect, whether I’m flat-picking or playing finger-style.
The action is easy and fluid.
Notes are true and clear at every fret on every string. The cutaway offers easy access to the highest frets!
The guitar’s sweet spot is towards the high end, but there is good bass response too.
This instrument sounds great unplugged, but where she really shines is when I play through my PA system! The onboard electronics are quite good, although I must say that for my older eyes the tuner is a bit hard to read, even with my strongest glasses! The EQ offers just the right options. I’m surprised at how easy it is to control feedback, even when playing at excessive volume!
The instrument arrived in a beautiful and compact hardshell case, in great condition. For the most part it was well set up, although I did need to do a little work on the fourteenth fret, which was just a bit high. Only a minor fret dressing required to fix it though.
The tuners are efficient and easy to use – precise and reliable.
Overall, this is a great guitar. I’m looking forward to the near future when I can start getting out to play for people again – this instrument will really shine on stage! Thanks to the folks at Andrew White Guitars for this superb addition to my studio and stage rig!
