C Major/A minor Scale, Plus 3-notes-per-string Positions.

3 Notes per string scales will really get you ripping on lead guitar! In the document below, I go through all the standard positions of the C/Am scale, give you the note names so that you can practice naming and locating the notes. Then, after each standard position, I’ll show you its 3-note-per-string equivalent.
In layman’s terms–it’s the same notes as the white keys on a piano, played on guitar, and in a way that you can do it fast. Plus, you’ll know where ABCDEF and G are all over the fretboard.
